When your running route takes you from the road to the trails, the HOKA Challenger 7 will assist in making that adventure a smooth one. Thanks to the increased stack height from previous models and the soft CMEVA foam in the midsole, runners will experience a plush landing mile after mile no matter the terrain. The strategically placed lugs and the proprietary rubber in the outsole work together to provide excellent traction on singletrack trails and fireroads without sacrificing a smooth ride on paved surfaces. Rounding out the shoe is a breathable engineered mesh upper with a gussetted tongue design that offers a secure yet adaptable fit. When you're not exactly sure where or how far your run will take you, or when you only have room for one shoe while traveling, the HOKA Challenger 7 is a do-it-all shoe that is ready for the call

Pronation
Pronation
Pronation is a natural and important motion the foot makes to absorb the shock of hitting the ground. Some people have more movement than others. To much movement relative to the individual could result in the overloading of stabilizing tendons, ligaments and muscles around the ankle, knee or hip . Some shoes can work with your foot to slow down the movement, reduce the angle of the movement and help your body to move in a more controlled way.
